The Robert M. Gates Global Policy Center is an independent nonprofit organization with the ability to bridge gaps between national security expertise and policy.
We incorporate the specialized knowledge and experience of leading U.S. and international scholars, researchers, practitioners, and lawmakers into Gates Forum research volumes, discussions, and recommendations for statecraft solutions to national security challenges.
William & Mary
The GGPC will have a home in the newly refurbished Gates Hall at William & Mary.
The GGPC maintains a key partnership with William & Mary, a public research university renowned for its emphasis on public service and global affairs.
We hold Gates Forums at William & Mary, taking advantage of its proximity to Washington, DC, and its relationship with Secretary Gates, who is a graduate of the university and serves as its chancellor.
The GGPC is also building partnerships with national leaders, Washington think tanks, businesses, and public-interest policy groups that share our goal of rebuilding America’s national security and statecraft toolkit.
